I got a 2cyl Daihatsu Handivan 83 model with 31,000kms on the clock. got it for $400 from my g/f neighbor. His old man had owned it since new and never drove it.

Been out looking for cars for my girlfriend and came across a KC (85) Laser with 15,000 on the clock, same deal, old lady who had owned it from new and just drove it to the shops and back

15,000 in 18 years = 833km per year, 16km a week, regularly serviced etc. Was either 6 or 8 grand

A lot of old people seem to have cars with extreamly low kms. I know a old man that has a Black 1992 LTD Fairlane V8. He gave up his licence about 7 years ago and about 3 weeks ago i just pushed the odomoter over 9,000Kms to get its regular serice this thing drives like a dream. He wont part with it as he loves just sitting in it and being taken for a drive once in a while.

Who wouldn't?

Ah yes my bad.. I was thinking back to the 3.2's that some Ea's had :)

I almost bought an immaculate EB1 fairmont with no power windows a few months ago for $2600, drove better than any eb i've driven before.. I have a taste for luxury cars :)

Is that the Spac in Unique Cars selling for $12,000? Looks like new, but at $12,000 I'd bet ESP owners were choking!

WhiteRider was at our last Drag Meet in his ED Ghia and I was shocked that it only had 46000km. I guess theres more out there like that that have been treated like one of the family :D
