Read EA back on the road. But a cost. Tell me if I payed too much

I had to get all this done coz my poor EA sucked a bit of water.. (don't ask)

Here a copy of my bill.

Not bad. Mate of mine got charged $1600 just for the head to be done about 12 months ago. Also your repairer did not charge you for coolant according to the invoice. On that subject, keep that coolant pristine! I only ever use Tectalloy Gold mixed (to specified ratio) in demineralised water. I keep a few of litres of the brew in the boot (NA Fairlane) for emergencies so I'm not caught having to use plain water.
Good luck, she should go trouble-free for a few years now you've made the investment!

With all that was done, i'd say thats pretty good, if the jobe was done right.

Are you happy with the result?

What are the main bearings?
I don't think you paid too much at all.

Pretty decent price for the amount of work done. Looks like quite a bit of stuff was done. At least you have peace of mind knowing that you have someone to take the car back to if something goes wrong.
