ea computer?

i have no idea how they work, now i know the mid 90's ones are self learning but wat about the old 89 ea's etc...

There isn't much difference between an EA ECU and EL ECU, they are both self learning.

hmmm, how do u go about reseting? and is it worth doing it with just an exhuast mod?

i think re-setting the ecu is prob a waste of time and you loose ya radio stations 2. it does self learn over time

I wouldn't bother, you either do it right when you mod something or not at all. I'm sure the ECU is well on the way to figuring it all out by now.

ye and the thing is a few mates say your fuel usage will sky rocket but im getitng same km's as i usualy do and im pushing it harder lol

EEC-IV is pretty much fixed configuration. Resetting won't make much difference as closed loop control will work out any changes pretty quickly.
