Just wondering would i be able to bolt an eb head (4.0 l version) onto the 3.9l block of the ea without compression problems or a mismatch of water / oil galleries. Please someone give me a straight yes or no cause im a stingy barstard at the moment and i need to know before i go ahead and waist my last penny... -y + ies

YES... you may loss a slight amount of comp but not much... EVERY THING LINES UP.
USE AN AU head gasket which is thinner and is a much better gasket. THis will help to regain the compression

EF head should cost around $250 I think, and you need the EF rocker cover too. A mate of mine put one on his EA when his head cracked and he spilt Baileys all over his driveway.
