Hi Dudes

i was just wondering if it is possible to change the front door internal skins from the EA to ED, to take advantage of the bigger speaker grill or will I still have a problem due to the smaller speaker mount. The reason i ask is because I want to fit bigger front speakers.

yeah you can i think up to ef/el they will fit perfect.
and im pretty sure ea/ed are interchangeable

You will need to cut the metal in the door to fit any bigger than the 4in speakers that are in the EA doors. But all door trims from E-series models will fit on every E-Series car... so any door trim from EA-EL will fit on any car EA-EL
Keeping in mind, if you go EF/EL the colourign is different to the dashboard, and the front trims have different pieces to go over where the side mirrors are.

there is a pic on Fordgallery.com of someones EL door trims in an EB.
they match up almost perfect in terms of shape. the colours a little different though.
but the EF/EL trims sure look nicer :)
