EA Faimont options - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Gday folks,
I just bought a EA fairmont recently, and ive been looking up info on its original options available.

there is a table on http://www.geocities.com/falconfacts.../eafalcon.html containing all the options available with the EA series falcon. Assuming that this table is correct, my Fairmont is half Fairmont, Half Fairmont Ghia.
It says that a fairmont doesnt have power windows, but the Ghia does, which mine doesnt, but it says only the fairmont Ghia has a Digital Speedo, and mine does...
there is no Ghia Badges anywhere on the car.
im a bit confused!

I hope you didn't place too much emphasis on the amount of km's the car has travelled when buying it!

my ea wagon is a september 88 wagon ,, normal dash me thinks , it has only got some c/coded b/bars , alloy wheels , and some more cloth trim ,, mpi engine and three speeder...few other gadgits automatic rear wiper , roof rack weather thats an option or madatory on wagons .. the whole car is a funky purplie colour that changes in the light.,,, maybe fords first pearl,, he he.. oh thats fade sorry..

Good point about the dash , how many kays has yours done.

My parents had a Telstar giaha sedan ,, that was a badged jobbie with only alloy wheels and cloth trim , goldy paint ,, 5 speed manual , 2 litre thing
NO air /con or p/steer.. standered dash...

fairmont and fairmont ghia both have the Digital dash on EA's and in EB1's the fairmont had the Digital dash whereas the fairmont ghia had the S-Pac cluster.

Maybe try posting in the "eseries general discussion" and you will probably get a better response there.

EA Fairmonts had the S-Pac cluster, only the Ghias had the digital dash
EB1 Fairmont and Fairmont Ghias both had the digital dash
EB2's Fairmont and Fairmont Ghias both had the S-Pac cluster.
An EA fairmont with a digital dash means its not the original cluster, which means the km it reads are not accurate.

I stand corrected...thanks for pointing that out.

One thing tho, just cause it hasnt got the original cluster, doesnt mean its not accurate, if the actual km's were transfered over.
