EA Fairmont Ghia
Hey guys. Im a newbie but im loooking at getting a 1990 EA Fairmont Ghia. It has Multi point injection, all power options (mirrors, windows etc) and a rear LSD. It has 240 000 on the clock, and is going for $3000. The body is in good nick, it could do with a good polish though. Any things to look out for when buying this type of ford?
Im looking at doing some pretty low key mods, 17 inch rims, decent air filters, 2.5" exhaust and maybe a new camshaft. anyway, thanks for any input guys.
Cheers, Gazza

Re: EA Fairmont Ghia
Any service history would be a big help. There's no knowing when the head gasket will go on an E series six.
Best of luck with it and keep us posted.

Re: EA Fairmont Ghia
does that price include reg and roadworthy? if not its a little to pricey for an EA. unless it is immaculate.

Re: EA Fairmont Ghia
Coolant mixing with oil, major loss of power and car overheating will be a strong enough hint. I'd get it checked out by a trusted mechanic. :o)
Best of luck with it.
