I finnaly talked my brother into buying an EA Falcon. He was looking for a VN but i talked him out of it.
And more good news....my aunt just got rid of her VN for an AU2

Hey Guys Im not being a Ben, My uncle had one a Series 2 Forte. The Car had power and nice interior but he had lots of problems with the transmission the brakes warping every couple of thousand Km's. Its just a shit car even ford said that when the new falcon comes out it wants to distance it as much from the AU. The AU Series 1 , 2 and 3 has nothing on the VT and VX.
Its just a fact.

That is strange because I regard the AU as an extremely reliable car. But I suppose there will always be the occasional 'lemon'.

Yeah, there is. I reckon 1 in about 100 cars that leave the factory is literally a lemon. My dads AUII was, but there is no way he would call it shit. He loves it :D

There was another AUII i heard of in some sort of car evaluation place that had a whole lot of electrical maladies. The person who wrote it said he had another one and he had no complaints what so ever for it.
