Well what would you do if you had an EA or one of those Corollas?

I was only taking the piss btw.

thats what im saying, the 4AGE's are quick, im not sure if u guys are aware of this but these 4AGE's are the naturally aspirated version of the MR2 supercharged engines - (the 4AGZE) so theres no doubting their grunt for a COROLLA!!
but just looking at the power to weight ratios you will find that the EA has the edge (with all low down torque aside on top of that!)

EA: 1418kg/139kw = 10.2kw/kg
Corolla SX: 1065kg/100kw = 10.65kw/kg

the 4age rev to 7800 so i guess the ea will be on power quicker

yep especially since max torque in the EA is reached at 3750 rpm and max power at 4500 rpm, at useful points in the rev range

I'm sure that 100kg of stereo in the Corolla would hinder its progress... It would need that 100kW donk just to haul the sound system around!

I reckon the falcon will take it out every time mate,just stay away from the corners,ive owned a 20v fxgt(sorry) an those things can handle,my Ed seems to love spitting the power steer belt when i drift corners at speed...

The ea with the 5 speed should pound it n even if it couldnt you wouldnt let him no that lol once you can take it out of the shop and give him a drag thatl be the only thing thats gonna stop the what ifs!
