ea not running


I just bought an ea2 for $100. They guy had a new motor chucked in it and says it just stopped Its a centre point injection

I have had it running but here is the catch

It will only run if I pour petrol down its throat (hence obviously the injectors arent injecting) As soon as the petrol runs out it stops. The fuel is flowing through the in and out pipes around the injectors and if you pull the injector out fuel comes too.

I am starting to think there is an electrical problem running the injectors.

I have checked all the fuses under the dash they are all good. Is there any other area I should look?

All the wires seem connected.

For some reason there is a toggle switch which turns on the fuel pump manually. Not sure if this effects the injectors but seems strange as he was driving it fine and it just stopped like it had been switched off.

Damn thing just ran out of rego to but what do you expect for $100 , Im happy

Any ideas would be great
