OK. I Have An EA Series II 1990 Falcon Station Wagon. I Have Just Put In A New CD Player Replacing An Older Tape Player. I Have Wired The CD Player Up To The Rear Speakers But I Don't Know How To Wire The Door Speakers Up In The Front. There Are Lots Of Wires Coming Out Of The Doors. Which Colour Is For The Speakers? I Hope Somebody Can Help.

were the front speakers working with the old unit?if so just use the same wires

G'day,
this is an area where a little caution can lead to success. You say there are unused wires in your doors??? chances are the wires are there.

When you wired in the rock box, did you find 4 pairs of speaker wires???

Thing is, that in early E series, they were wired for 6 speakers. 2 on dash top, 2 in doors, and 2 for rear.

As for wire colours in the door, i can look it up, but the book i have is EB specific, they MAY be different. i will try to remember to bring it home and let you know th colours.

I have looked this up in the workshop manual.

The front door speakers: (The manual does not show polarity)
Left - BLA and GRN (I assume black, and green)
Right - GRY/BLU and GRY/GRN (I assume Gray and Blue, and Gray and green)

The rear speakers:
Left - PK/BLA and PK/GRN (I assume pink and Black, and Pink and Green)
Right - BLU/BLA and BLU/R (I assume Blue and Black, and Blue and Red
