Wish you luck.

These are pretty rare (probably why you want one).It will be a hard ask to get one. There is a turbo charged version and naturaly aspirated one. There was between 1-250 made don't quote me on that. They pretty hard to come by if you get one grab it.But one can get the same if not more then SVO grunt with a the combination of One EA,Camshaft, headwork and good exhaust and maybe chip.

re: svo

Look in unique car mag or the trading post.....but finding one will be very very difficult. A guy down the road had one and fuk it went.......don't waste your time....if it is the turbo you want, and you'd buy the SVO EA for this reason just go and buy a turbo kit and it will go the same if not better than the svo ea. Try bensons turbo's in sydney or a similar place that does complete kits.

Thanks

Thanks Guys,

Yeah i wanted one that was original, because i wanted to show up these ****s with VL turbo's , i remember they did a test drive in Wheels around about May "88 , anyway i was after an Original Turbo one, If not i will look around for a Fairmont Ghia and do it up, almost the same, but i want the real one, its just a fully sick car.

Also, Its good to own a part of ford history, im an avid ford fan, even though ppl thort the EA was a clump of shit. it still holds pride today, even the odd ex-taxi you see kicking around.

hey man

do up an EB2, look tha same as an EA (apart from a few details of course) and they are more refined. No offence 2 ya EA owners coz i think that they r still a great car.

re ea

I had an ea 88 model that i had bought brand new and i absoulutly cained the ass off it on a daily basis....i did burnouts and dounuts and raced everybody and all i ever replaced was 1 alternator,2 batteries,2 fan belts, 1 clutch,8 or more sets of brakes and a shit load of pirelli tyres. It finally ended when some security guard in a ford festivea ( CHUBB ) slamed up my ass at 100k's while i was stationary making a right hand turn off the pacific hwy at wyong on october 1st 1998 at 7.30pm with my one week old daughter in the back set....( baby capsules are a fuking lifesaver)
but the car had done 327,000 k's....not bad for a clump of shit some call it.

p.s no one got hurt......thank f*k
