ea water pump

i have to change a water pump in 3.9, going by the book i have, i have to remove the balancer, yes or no and what sort off puller do i need if i do have to, thanks for your help

the water pump is a part of the clutch fan, not the balancer.

okay maybe i wasnt clearer,the car is not mine and i cant look at the momment.i got hold of a max ellery manaull,it goes like this remove fan shroud ,fan clutch etc,remove the crankshaft balancer, then remove pump
