Cut a long story short, my cousin got a new house on 5 acres. We went there, begged for permission to go bush bashin round the back and in the end got bogged after 30 metres. Not fun at all. We we ended up getting it out after 4 hours of hard work, determination and an earful from my mum :S
Here's a pic:
The car's only clean because that photo was taken in the first 5 minutes and I'd only washed it an hour prior. My precious tyre shine
hahaha thats unlucky man, i can imagine the situation you would have been there with it being your mums car :1poke: mmm 5 acres, there would be some awesome fun to be had....just maybe when its a little less wet :wnc:
i got bogged on york rd in mt evelen one night, looking for an old friends house i realised i had gone to far, so i deceided to turn onto what looked like a gravel access rd to another st....turns out it was a section of wet grass
Hahahahahaha that's so funny because I've pulled so many cars out of bogs with the LandCruiser it's rediculous. Can't say I've had to pull out any EA's though
But if you're in the Dandenong area and you get bogged, give me a ring lol
i have 17 acres here with some nice bush tracks etc and a few bashing cars, only problem is getting in trouble for ripping up the ground, but hey were only young once and at least its no on the road..
lol i once had an old vc bogged upto the diff had to leave it until the ground dried otherwise the tractor would of got bogged lol
lol reminds me when i got mi old XD bogged up to the diff in clay (ahhh Adelaide is great for that) in a new housing estate (Oakden for those Adelaide people) right in the lunch break between Year 12 exams :S lol it was alot of fun though haha
Mate, we drove for about 25 metres and got bogged in a BIG puddle of water like sunny said it was like the murry river! it was heaps worse than it looks on that picture!
hahahha nice work mate. it makes me feel better for when i got mine bogged in the bush near my joint had to get a toe truck... couldnt get a 4wd and my mates bommodore wouldnt pull me out. hahah nice to see!
A lot of swearing, a couple of planks of wood, a sheet of old corrigated iron and an EA scissor jack. We tried putting those together for a perfect combo to get the car out about a 100 times. It finally worked on the 101st shot.
Hehehehehee, must admit though just a little wet is fun We have 800 acres of slipery ground here right now
