EAs stock rear wheel power

Greetings all , now I know that the EA (3.9 CFI) is rated at 120 kw @4250 rpm and the EA (MPEFI) is rated at 139 kw @ 4250 rpm , but has anyone run a stock EA on a dyno ?, how much power does the an EA produce at the rear wheels ? , Im after the figures for a standard EA but if anyone has a moderfied EA that they have dyno'd I would be interested too , just remember to tell me what proformance mod's you have done.

I have an EA 11 cfi 4spd sedan that is stock and am keen to know how much power it is likely to have at the rear wheels, next week i will have a LUKEY 2.5'' sport muffler and was woundering if it would increase proformance ?

power

i think tha MPFI EA 3 speed auto produced 86kW at tha wheels, i'd expect a lil more for 5 speed, or 4 speed.

not sure about CFI power at tha wheels.

Re: power

yeah, i think the EA's had 86KW or so at the wheels.

My new EF 5 speed with exhaust, extractors, chiptorque chip put out 108KW@wheels on the chiptorque dyno, and has had K&N pod filter and new leads added since then. When i get the money i'll put in a good cam (with new valvesprings, timing gears etc.) and get a couple of grand worth of head work done, which should get the car hammering.

EF Beast sounds great

That sound like a bit of a beast mate , I love done up EF Falcons they look more aggressive than EL's because the grill is closed , giving it a sharper look , and with alloys, headers, exaust.chip it would be a awsome car!.

dont get me wrong your EF would be f*#king quick , but 108 kw at the wheels dosent sound like much when a stock EA has 86 kw at the wheels, in the real world numbers dont matter though.

Yeah my EF Wagon manual was dynoed this year at 136kw at the wheels though i think from last year the dyno figures are about 15kw more optimistic this year.

Last years dyno for the wagon was 114kw, since then i've added cat back exhuast and K&N and a Tseries intake tube. As a guide the same time when my wagon was dynoed at 114kw there was an EB2 that made 86kw at the wheels though he did have problems with the engine.

Hoping my XR6 baby would make give or taken 140+kw at the wheels.
