can someone tell me the part number for eb fairmont ghia v8 booster

and would ef be the same.....

I have access to a ef one at reasonable cost....and my brakes are doing weird things.......rock hard pedal....for the first 3 or 4 stops from start...got plenty of vacuum...so i think the boosters shat the diaphram

whilst the booster is very much likely the same, if it was a booster problem, i would expect the same hard pedal....hard to stop everytime i hit the brakes...regardless of number of applications.

Is it possible you have seized slides/piston? one is enough. And if its a front one that has seized you could expect some pulling to the working side.

Thanks Jas, I think this might be a job that need to go to the experts, as I know very little about boosters. I took the vacuum lne off and there appeared to be plenty there. so im not sure
