without heading outside into the storm to check.....
You have a headlight fuse, then DUAL relays.
If you have high, then it ain't the fuse.
To determine if its relay or globe, all you need is a test light.
rip the back of the headlight assembly, and remove the plug from the back of the main globe. You have three wires, Earth, Low and high. test for power on low and high on BOTH head lights (sorry can't tell ya the wire colours...too pissed!!)
If you have power in all the right places, then its the globe.
Then again, you re talking EB Fairmont, which means you have a Low/high main globe and a secondary High.....therefore if they are not lighting, it is more likley to be a relay.

if he has hing beam cant he just switch the relays around or are they different?
WELL I GOT OFF MY ARSE AND FIGURED IT OUT FOR MY SELF.
NOT ONLY HAD THE GLOBES GONE (BOTH LOW BEAM)
BUT THE RELYS WHERE TRIPPING OUT FOR SOME REASON. I RIPPED OUT THE WIRES AND JUST DID IT AGAIN, I THINK A FEW WERE FRAYED AND SHORTING EVERY THING OUT EXCEPT THE HIGH BEAMS. AT LEAST PEOPLE COMING TOWARDS ME AT NIGHT WONT a) BE BLINDED OR b) NOT ABLE TO SEE ME
