Note about the links above. EB II and ED use the same under dash diagnostic connector as the EEC-V equipped EF and ELs. Only difference is the airbag pins will be missing on your EB's connector.
As for the test lamp to use I would recommend making one using a LED as some bulbs can draw too much current and could pontentially fry your EEC circuitry.
I dont have diagrams I can link up for you but Gegorys manuals for Falcons have a decent one. Parts from an electronics store wont set you back any more than $5 or so.
One extra test not noted on the above links is one activated after finishing the KOEO test where you press the accelerator pedal. This causes the EEC to energise all the engine relays and solenoids except for the injectors. Pressing the pedal again de-energises them. If the EEC picks up on any faults from this they will be stored in the KAM and you can see them by running the KOEO test again.
