hello
does anyone know if tail lights and garnish from eb will fit straight in a ea.
i know the body shape is the same. but are all the holes in the same place.

please help any info will be appreciated

pretty sure that the EA bootlid doesn't have the cutouts to clear the bulb holders for the EB reverse lights. Apparently you can "modify" them to fit. Some sort of butchering of the globe holders is required.

G'day,
i have an EB...mum has an EA, i can check for sure.
But it also depends on which EB garnish you plan to use. I am a panel beater..by trade and job, and have cross fit plent of bootlids, and NEVER come across a fitment issue.

If you do, you do not need to butcher the globe holders as suggested, but merely trim some of the frame from your bootlid...but i would be VERY surprised if you had to.

As for the tail-lights, bolt in! The inner panels do differ, but are irrelevant to light fitment.

i did it today.
it was a hassle but not impossible. i did have to cut holes for reverse lights
and drill a couple of holes but its done and looks better now
