Been working on this one all day.

Still cant work out the problem. Had two mechanics and myself on it all day...

Been trying to fit a new gas system. After finding a wiring problem with the inital gas installation and rectifying. The car now runs really crap on petrol (haent got as far as testing the gas yet). The car runs fine if we disconnect the ISC but as soo as you plug it in it idles really rough (then dies) and runs way rich. We have replaced ECU, MAP Sensor, ISC, and checked the error codes. The only error code we got was the canister purge solenoid which we have replaced (it was shagged) and still the same problem. We have tried returning all the wiring back to original and still the same problem.

One thing we just found, when we connected the ISC back up and the enigne died, we oculd still hear the injectors pulsing after the engine had stopped. I have NFI anymore.

Can anyone help??

Been working on it with mechanic a bit more. We have now replaced the TFI module, and still no help. This is starting to get really annoying.

If we run the car without the ICS (Idle Control Solenoid) connected, not a problem, have to press throttle to start car, and then she idles nice (not sure what will happen with air con, putting car in gear and so on) but as soon as we plug the ICS in she starts running real rich (can smell it) and really rough idle, and dies. Once it dies the injectors keep firing away. Please someone help, this is starting to be a real pain.

Sounds liek you have dropped an earth....

only an idea tho...based on common probs with these. If it was fine before conversion, then nothing should change.
