ED stezza trouble ????

my Ed fairmont has just started to get whinning noise when i turn the stezza on it doesnt matter if its a CD or just the radio its still there. As you rev the engine the pitch gets higher. If you headlights are on the whinning is louder again. Even if the engine isn't running the whine is still there. Its not the speaker wiring or rca cables or the amp or the head unit i have checked all theses .

any heap would be real nice!

Re: ED stezza trouble ????

i dont know what u mean by checked but is the amp power wire running seperate to the rca cable. to check if its the amp causing the interference this way disconnect the rca's.

maybe the suppressors on the coil or alternater have blown.

Re: ED stezza trouble ????

You've checked a bit already so i dont know. This is usually caused by an earth wire not being earthed properly & letting in interference.

Re: ED stezza trouble ????

power wire with rca cables will cause this. happened to the boss car, disconnect rca's and noise goes away....
