I can't ignore the engine mount problem in my Sprint anymore. The movement of the engine is causing the driver side header to knock my steering arm which has led to the column in the car popping out of the rubber bushing. Now driving my brother's Fairmont till I get it sorted.
Question is, how much should I be expecting Ford to charge for parts and labour to replace both mounts and possibly the T5 mount also? I know the engine mounts are ridiculously expensive but I am not aware of any other off the shelf options that I can go for instead. Advice anyone?

Ford dealer in Sydney quoted me $410 for both and approx $250 for the labour.
I am wondering whether I should be consdering replacing the T5 mount as well as I noticed the shifter would move slightly as the engine loaded up. Was quoted $280 for the tranny mount.

Thanks for the info, great to read there's a second choice. Going to ring Repco right now to find prices. Are those bottom two part numbers different options for the transmission mount?
