How can you check pressure other than using a fuel pressure guage? I hate having to have specialisnt equiptment to do most diagnostic work.

Re: ED XR6 breaking down

Mine did the same thing. Ran purrrfectly for 170,000 km. Started running rough, Checked dizzy cap, found center carbon conductor to be non existant. Put new cap on and this helped, but didn't compleatly solve the problem. Must have caused some sort of damage. Ended up buying a $40 dizzy from the wreakers and now she purrs again.

Re: ED XR6 breaking down

Have the exhaust checked, it could have a melted cat or blocked muffler.
