EF 6cyl sometimes starts then stops

Hi guys,

Picked my son up a 95 EF Fairmont 6 cylinder, dual fuel, not running.

When you turn the key on, if all the dash lights come on nice and bright, the engine will start, run for about 5 seconds, then stop.

If only some of the dash lights come on, and they are dull, the car wont start.

SOUNDS like looses/faulty wiring somewhere.

Any ideas??

Sounds like a poor alternator taking out a battery.
