Ef alternator into an EA complete

While changing the head gasket on my EA (many thanx to alex aka the goodz), I decided to have a go at installing an EF alternator I had lying around into my EA (sorry jack ) and i'm very happy with the results! Voltage drops to bout 13.5V while cranking the stereo, compared to 12V with my old alternator. Needed a bit of provoking to get her in (read: grinding) and a custom bracket will need to be fabricated at a later date as the EA one doesn't align properly (a little bit of enginuity was needed to secure it down for now), but overall there were no dramas :)

Oh and as for my car, it doesn't leak water anymore, and the rough idles gone :)

I reckon we can have a go at making a new bracket, I've been having thoughts on how to do it, so maybe sometime soon we'll get onto that.
