ef cam in ea multi point is it possible or worth it?

hey guys i drive an ea fairmont ghia MPI, but i got given a free EF cam and Rocker gear at tafe today, but i must fit it tomorrow!

just wondering if it is possible to fit an ef cam to an ea, i cant remember properly but some one told me that you can fit them to an ea.

if i do fit it do i have to fit the rocker gear as well or just the cam???

will it actually do any difference to the performance of the engine??

any help is greatly appreciated

thanks

Your car is on gas aint it? Was it running on gas when it backfired? I hear LPG backfires quite often

Re: ef cam in ea multi point is it possible or worth it?

yeah some of the lecturers at tafe reckon i need to tune my gas system or let it settle in, because the old cam was so worn it wasnt opening as much, this way its opening heaps more then before, im gonna leave it for a week then if it still hasnt sorted its self out ill get either the gas system tuned or the cam replaced with the old one.

cheers
