EF Fairmont Ghia Series 1 Vs. 2

Whats the difference between the Series 1 Ghia and Series 2 Ghia (EF) interior and exterior? And does the Series 2 have the Tickford engine?

Series 2 do have the tickford (xr) running gear.
On the ghias, I'm pretty sure series 2 had the full leather, 1 had a half/half mix (atleast most s1 EF's ive seen had that)

Re: EF Fairmont Ghia Series 1 Vs. 2

full leather might of been a factory option still on series 2.. the only real differences is the series 2 had "ghia" (as in the word) badges along side the fairmont badge on the lower rear area and inside, got the ghia shields on the driver and passenger doors.. then there were the other EF series 2 changes like the different ash tray (more square), not sure what the other changes were across the board.

Exterior was exactly they same. Easiest way to tell is by looking at the engine as the series 2 Ghia had the Tickford XR6 running gear. Not that it'll make a difference to a 9-10yo car, but the power was a few kw less than the XR6 due to a restrictive exhaust.

One small difference was the 4.0L sticker on the side mould was changed to gold instead of silver with the Tickford engine.
