EF Falcon gearbox

Hi everyone,

I've got an EF Falcon Futura which I bought when it was only two years old. It's in mint condition and I've taken great care of it. The car only gets driven a few times a month. However latetly the gearbox started slipping. I was driving at 110km on the highway and it slipped out of gear. So I took it to my mechanic and got it serviced. But just recently its now slipping a bit more when accelerating hard. Is the gearbox in need of a rebuilt? And if yes who can recommend a good transmission repairer in Sydney NSW?
Thanks,

It does sound crook , depending on the cars value a simple swap of a know good auto might be a better investment as the rebuild dependant on damage can become a major cost
