ef help battery light onn

hey boys got battery light come onn yesterday that means my alternater stuffed dosent it..or wat else could it be...thanks

Most likely either the regulator, main wire at alternator (proximity to exhaust tends to make it become brittle so strand inside the insulation fail) or the fusible link.

car died yesterday battert drained not holding charge..got onn charger 2nite..wen i juped started it the battert light went off..recon tha alternater wheres the main fuse for the battery new car 95 xr6 ef full tickford harrodd motorsport if buying new alternater wat amp should it be..thanks

Note the regulator plugs into back of alternator held by two screws and is cheaper to replace (usually just warn carbon brushes that come with the regulator module. Typically look a bit like this (the black plastic box on the back of the alternator) :
