I am experiencing ignition problems with my EF Falcon.
It will start ok. I drive for any distance without problem and leave the vehicle.
On my return it often will not start, not even turn over. I leave the vehicle for a while and try again and it starts no problem. Any ideas?

Its a common fault with the ef falcon that is the smartlock,especially when its hot it's located at the driver side.What it is the solder connection is faulty and when itis warm U have faulty connection.
U can take out the smartlock and check the connections.but a quick way to see if this is the fault is to bang the dash at the Driver side,Starts straight away its Confirm.
Another Common Fault is the Switch located at the side of the Automatic Gear box.

I like many others have gone through this Problem.

i have ef xr8, with the same prob. Just bang the dash next to steer column on the left of it. Works everytme.
Most auto electricians are aware of it also, and have a kit they can put in to bypass smartlock all together.
