this bloke i talked to reckons u can send yr chip to perth( cos i live sorta rural) and get it fiddled with and pulling an extra 30 - 40 kw out of it. He has 05 vz ute and he got 40kw. just wondering if it is possible for my car and does n e one kno what they do to the chip

i think you mean computer which you get a piggy back chip installed and it will lean your motor out which gives you more power(someone can into finer detail for you but i just cant be stuffed) cause a fords run pritty rich stock so power gains arnt that hard with a we'll say unichip.ive never heard of someone sending there "chip" away and getting it modded for more power.

A chip does not work miracles, it can only tune the car to give what the engine combination can.
Before wasting ya time and $$$ on a chip, fit extractors and exhaust, plus cam, TB and injectors, then the chip will give ya 50+
