tickford did the gas on EF/el 2... if its a factory gas ef/el it will have a tickford plate in the engine bay.. usually on the pasenger side, near the strut top

dont go the factory gas one though, some people really like them, i think there pieces of shite. get a el mate, i think there alot better than au, my personal opinion, dont hammer me, i like the look of the el 10 fold plus they have a lot more response and i recon they piss all over the au.
then again eb's a so cheap and they still are just as good as any. would steer away from another ea

Whats wrong with the factory gas system???... THere the Best complex converter u can get and shit on any other complex converter as far as maintaing idle quality goes...
There also less prone to backfiring than the earlier impco kits fitted to eb's..

um let me see, hey cool i live in perth and wanna take the car for a decent cruise, or a holiday maybe up the coast. whats that mr bp you guys dont sell anygas up here.
how am i suppost to get home, i have not 1/8 of a tank.
see my point, stuff running out of gas without the option of putting ordinary unleaded that is sold every where in it.
who cares about back firing, ive never had a problem with the duel fuel falcon, eb/d are pretty much the same as the ef/l motor, just different intake i believe

um.... AU's were offerd as DUEL fuel from factory man... not only straight gas.. BA is the first one to be not offerd as duel fuel....
You can only get straight gas au2/3 no straight gas option on au 1.
duel was offered on au1/au2/au3... so whats ya point

Cheers guys.... don't worry DANGERXY I'm not getting another ea..... although I've had nearly two years of trouble free motoring with mine, it's just hitting me in the pocket at the moment with fuel, and I'm looking for a car to last me at least five or so years. So if you know anyone after an ea that stands out from the crowd with a decent stereo, gt body kit, headers etc etc let me know!!!!! Personally I don't think it'll go that quickly with fuel prices at moment.
I think I'd be looking at dual fuel, just to have the option when I do long runs. I read a bit more around the forums on the el vs au today. It seems everyone has their own opinions which is great food for thought. I gather go for an au2 and steer clear of the au1 is the general consensus with the au.
Anyone have anything else to suggest feel free. I've never driven either type of car so it'll probably come down to that and what's in the market.
Thanks once again,
Ian
