hi all... i have briefly searched for threads on this topic and haven't found any... my central locking is "dancing" when i lock it... it is only an occasional thing but has been getting more regular... have heard its a prety common fault.. information on how to fix this would be most helpful... i am going to try to clean the insides up just incase something is stopping the locks from dropping therefore wont lock... any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Usually means bent snipper rod (the rod inside the door under the lock button on your door sill locks) or broken out of line lock button on the door sill. Manually lift and push down each door sill lock to see which one has the most resistance. Or if a door has been damaged and repaired after a prang that will be the likely suspect.

thanks a heap aussieblu... i do have a slight inclination that my car had been in a prang before i purchased it... so im guess thats the reason... will post outcome as i see this as a common fault in e series falcons...
