EL Falcon Idling too high (Australia)

Hi Guys,

I have an EL Falcon that recently had its leads changed due to back firing, this caused a gromet to blow off and made it suck heaps of air. Car is fixed now except it is idling at around 2000RMP and my lemon of a mechanic cant get it to drop. he says it will reset itself after 30kms or so, i have now done 200kms and no change.

any ideas?

Thanks Mil

Welcome to the forums.

I moved your post to the E-Series Falcons section under the Australian Ford's Discussion part of the forum.

On the forums main page,Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks and Cars - The Premier Ford Discussion Site on the Web it's the 1st section right under the Ford Cars and PAG Vehicles (in the red bar). Here is a direct link to that section Australian Ford's Discussion - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks and Cars
