Unless your car has the number 53 on it, I don't see how it'd get "uncomfortable" about mods

Alright il try and explain:
The Ghia is a luxury car opposed to the sporty XR, There are parts in the XR which you could easily change over and make it better as a lot of the available aftermarket parts for the Ford's are shall i say sporty and flashy, which in my eyes would suit the XR better eg; sound system opposed the ghia's premium sound. Cost also comes into play, to better the ghia's interior you would have to pay a lot more then bettering the XR as for the ghia you will have to better leather compared to bettering cloth... note.. why i mentioned the steering wheel exp... lol/

It is very hard to explain, i have it at the tip of my tongue just can't get it out..
There is more availablity on parts for the XR opposed to the ghia (still a lot) both ways it's a hard decision :D

the only thing i hate about my ghia is that it doesnt have a sunroof, with a few mods they will go just as good as a xr8 to about 100k's
its hard to say what u should buy it also will come down to what colors and features are available when you go to buy one

Yeah I'm tossing up whether to get a sunroof (2nd hand) or not... My roof paint is f**ked and the lining is beginning to sag too (although fixing the lining is simple, as we found out when fixing a mate's EA Ghia roof lining Backyard Stylez)

frdpwr, referring to your sig, why haven't ya put a stally in your EF? Sounds like it'd be a real goer with what it's got in it so far...

Buy the Ghia - fit an XR front assembly and voila - luxury AND looks.

Try upgrading an original XR to Ghia specs and youll be out of pocket for $$$.

Hey champ,
If i were you id go with the ghia, u got all the spoils of the ghia, like the LSD (xr's have them too), the leather seats, the tickford motor, the woodgrain trim, plus there not as dear. tons of ppl dnt no the fairmont has the tickford in it so u can pick it up cheap, plus, it'll be a sleepa which is always the bonus :)
