Hi all, i have just had to repo an EL XR6 and have found a few problem and not sure what is related...
Firstly when at idle and in drive it is jerky , quite bad in fact but seemed to be ok once moving, the lifters are as noisy as and it has quite a bad exhaust/muffler leak and when you are manouvering slowly the revs seem to jump all over.. are these things related.. the lifters have always been a bit rattly and the trans worked fine.. sounds confusing but hopefully someoen might be able to throw some light on things

hey mate i have the same problem from first to second it jerks and clunk but only some times then from second to third it revs on its own in the gear change me and the old man dropped the auto pan new trans oil and dropped the diff oil and changed it but problem not fixed i have been to an auto elect and the say theres nothing wrong with it ? one code came up code number 786 power train light or sum shit dunno i need held with it new trans are $2000
