I have a 4spd auto mpi eas. The thing has the old diff that only spins one wheel so the right one smokes up. I have to use the brake to get it spinnin and smokin. I have a few questions is this gonna root my diff and also how much damage or stress is this putting on my gearbox, brakes and anything else ? Im doin this stuff legally so thats why i wanna know :)

well it stresses all the parts of ur car.
doing it a little won't damage ya diff.
but doing it all the time will cause issues.

Unfortunately the transmission, diff and rear brakes will most likely have problems ahead of time, depending on whether it is a one-off.

"Abuse" of any part of your car will cause it to wear quicker. How much abuse your car/parts can take is too hard to say. You could do 1 burnout and wreck your diff or you could do 1000 with out any sign of failure.

once or twice probably won't be that bad... but then again, you could pull a ripper and blow the diff/trannie in seconds... all depends on the condition of your driveline etc... and luck

a few of my mates do it all the time, and i mean nearly everytime we go for a cruise. They havnt had any troubles really, but u just wonder how the hell their cars stay alive. One of my mates has an XD and he can only chuck a burnout in reverse hahaha, but its funny coz he buys stockies and blows them all the time, its entertaining, ive never really done it in mine, but i really wanna try, but i respect my car too much. (even though i flog it everytime i drive it) har har har
