gear box help

i have an eb 4 speed auto and it has a bad leak where it bolts onto the engine, i'm thinking its the front seal and i has to be replaced could someone give me a run down on how to do it and what do i need to fix the problem or should i get another gear box and swap them straight over.

jack and correctly prop the car (stands) remove the cover plate on the bell housing and then look , which side of the flex plate is the oil dripping from ?

not only did i find the oil coming from the gearbox side but also a sh1t load of water from the other side witch means a welsh plug on the back has gone or something worse. with my luck it will be something else.
