Handbreak on EA

Hi, I got a EA the other day going to do some work on it, first question, the EA of course has the hand break up the top and I want to convert to the middle does anyone have any ideas and I’m looking to do some cheap mods just to get performance out of it anyone got idea’s……….

the only non pox way is to cut and weld the floor pan from a car that has the side hand brake.
