Well as some know, The EA has been droping oil pressure and the cam started chewing out the head due to a cracked rocker pedestal. Well after all the repaires there is still no oild pressure and there is a knock in the engine around the number 3 exhaust valve. So its off to the machanics.

perfect oppurtunity fo an AU motor upgrade. if its stuffed dont replace it with another 3.9 get the latest motor you can afford.

Once I find out how much tax I get back tommrow, will decide which engine I get, if it is fully stuffed. AU EL or EF maybe ED/EB xr6.

Go the EA....some sick c*nt around here was selling one for a excellent price...

BTW while were on engine destroying, I let my car get a bit hot today because I've got the thermos in dodgily atm (until I get a temp switch). I hope I didn't cook anything! I saw the gauge when it was about 2mm from the red and though shhheeeezzus. It takes a lot to cook 'em though...I know first hand. It took about 20km in the red with the light on (done over 2 years) for my Mum's engine to finally give up the ghost at 370,000km lol.
