how many kw's?

Hi all,

After I got my unichip installed in my EF Falcon, i gained 17rwkw.
Now I have max 122rwkw, and was wondering how does that convert to kw's at the flywheel.

Any help would be appreciated?

Re: how many kw's?

impossible to say at the moment. is it auto or manual?

At a rough guess I'd say around 160-165kw

Re: how many kw's?

Agreed, but i'd guestimate around 170kw from the engine.

If its an auto I'd agree that 170 is reasonable.

Re: how many kw's?

a very rough way is to convert your rwkW to rwhp, then rwhp = fwkW

45,000km service coming up - and i'll be asking for a sizable list of fixes:
* Gearbox (3rd time)
* Steering click (5th time)
* Brake Shudder (2nd time, and has the applied "Fix")
* etc...

Re: how many kw's?

1hp ~ .74kW

Therefore your 122rwkW is 164rwhp

This means at a good guess you are doing 164fwkW

Re: how many kw's?

the rwHP = rwKW is usually a pretty accurate conversion and i use it all the time,
but i would say more than 164, because ive heard stock xr6's get around 115-118rwkw if memory serves me correct.....
so maybe ~170 would be more like it
