how much for trip computer?

Hey guys i scored a trip computer from a guy. From a fairlaine not sure on the exact model but its the one of the ones in the EA-ED family. Anyway i tried hooking it up to my ED but from what i can tell my loom is just for a clock. So i was wanting to sell it but i did a trade for this so ive got no idea what theyre worth. So if anyone can help that would be good cos of course i wanna get the right price for it.

Mate,
Does it have black buttons or silver ones? Depending on Quality they go for $50 to $80 (normaly the higher priced ones come with the plug so people can convert their existing wiring for it. You could always go to a wrecker and get the plug and wire it up into your car.. .. I did mine and works a treat.

Its one with silver buttons.

So if i get a plug for it is it just a case of matching wires etc.. or is there a bit more involved like running new wires or something.

CHEERS

Re: how much for trip computer?

Mate,
If you have a look at this link on the ford mods site.
It tell you how to do it.
http://www.fordmods.com/forums/documents.php?doc=46

You need to cut a few wires to splice in the ones to the trip computer but it works...

Good luck.

Re: how much for trip computer?

Mate,
$80 will be the upper price limit with a plug. See how you go.
