A little bit of summer maintinince

Well,

saturday night, i was taking the Mrs out to dinner, and she said oh hun theres white stuff comming out from the front part.....(translates to steam from the bonnet), so i pulled over, popped the bonnet, and saw well......steam on the righ t hand side of my EF Engine, i thought at first i had blown a "welsh plug", but little did i know the heater hose lay beneath! so i replaced all the cooling hoses in the car, and whilst i was at it took out the radiator to get flushed and cleaned, now Mr radiator took of the side tanks right in front of me and i kid you not, the amount of brown slimey crap in those tanks was outstanding, worth a huge ovation. So he cleaned out the radiator and i paid him to do so. 2 Hours later im fitting my nice clean radiator back into my Gli EF. I also (finaly) sourced a 74deg thermostat to replace the existing one. I also took out all the relays and fuses cleaned the contacts with emry board and a good spary of Co. contact cleaner. So the end result i hear you ask ?

A car that, yes seriously runs twice as cool as before!
as well as Improved Starting

Total cost =$250
