ok i have 1992 eb station wagon series 2. i went to unlock my door and it wouldnt unlock but if i go to the passenger door it unlocks, i have central locking as well but i dont know whats wrong with it so please help me? what should i do and what do i need to do? thanks

barrel probbly stuffed...? thats happened to mine before...not fun

ok so is it hard to do the barrel yourself? does anybody know how much it would cost and who exactly does that sort of work?

Was the door not opening when u used the key or the remote? The wires which lead into the door might be split from the door opening and closing on them all the time, has happenend on mine before and the central does not work although the key still will.
The key barrel on my passenger side door became jammed a while ago, it looks like somebody has shoved a screwdriver in there to try and get the door open. can you see any damage in the barrel? you might have the same problem.

i dont have a remote just the key. what happens is i go to the car put the key in and i try to turn it to unlock it but it doesnt turn so i have to go around to the passenger door or get the passenger to unlock the doors. i havent had a look at the barrel but one day when shopping i came back and there was a chip of the handle missing so i believed someone tried to get in but that was 7 months or more ago. thank you.

well i fixed it well more than likely temporarliy anyway, lol! i used a bit of wd40 in the key lock hole on my side tried to unlock it and it worked thanks for your help guys anyway.

Just a bit of a pointer here, you should only use graphite powder in your locks because everything else will attract dust and make it even worse down the track.
