confused LOUD Diff sOUNDS???

i just got a reco EL XR6 diff put in a couple of months ago.i tend to thrash my car abit as i live on a private road.my diff is already sounding, it sounds like a bloody aeroplane taking off. what the hell is up with that????

im thinking its bugged.. sounds like a bearings died

The noise could also be made from the gears.

It happens when they are treated bad.

looks like ur gears has come loose.

the loud sounds as someone has mentioned can be due to a worn ring or spindle or bearings

i also doubt changing ur differential oil wouldnt solve the problem even if it is required.

Moral: dont flog your car.... this is wat happens.
