biggrin My first car

Hey guys, i'm a newbie to fordforums but its a sweet little community you've got here! Just thought i'd put up a post on first car....

White ED GLi 4.0, stock except spoiler and cruise, 158,000 kms, barely a mark on it, for the princely sum of $2600.

Since then, i've had windows tinted (darkest legal, not sure of %), installed a stereo (Pioneer DEH-7650 head unit, Rockford Fosgate Punch Z 12" Sub, Boss amp, Pioneer stockys on parcel shelf) and replaced those shitty stock wheels with some brand spankin new BA XR8 17" puppies that are wrapped in Michelin Nexen silica compound tyres. Next thing to come is some king springs - lows for front, super lows for rear and Monroe GT gas shocks which should get her riding like a car instead of a tractor. After that i'm getting a custom 2.5" stainless catback exhaust engineered, then upgradin the shite stock pioneers with some pioneer yellow cone 6x9s. I turn 18 in may, so i'm lookin forward to turning it into a street machine by then!

Also, I was wondering if someone can tell me if there is a custom grille available or an easy way to customise the stock grille cuz i think it lets down the look of the rest of the car.

Re: My first car

pacemaker headers, 3" exhaust, twin 3" straight through mufflers, stainless steel mandrel bent exhaust is what my mate has on his EB. Not turbocharged yet, but thats what he got recommended from a number of different exhaust shops and it cost him $1100 fitted.
