Need a Motor and GBox for a Falcon Ute
Hi All,
Glad I've finally been able to find a place where I can get some information.
My dad has given me a 1981 Falcon Ute (been told it's an XE) that I want to slowly restore. I want to start by replacing the straight 6 and column shift box with a V8 (maybe the 351 windsor?) and an auto gearbox.
I want to use it as a Sunday cruiser so now hectic horsepower is needed.
The "but" now. I live in Zambia, and cannot just pop into the friendly neighborhood junk yard or car breakers. Actually V8s are like hen's teeth here.
Help! ... basically.
