Hi All

I still have my 90 EA 4sp Auto Wagon (3.9 CFI) that is getting sicker every day :) I have the opportunity to buy an '88 S pack 3.9 MPFI 5spd Manual car for $1500.00 and was thinking about using it as spares when the rego runs out. How much of that car could I use in the wagon? Is it actually worth $1500.00?

Bruce you can use everything except, boot mat, boot lid, diff, rear suspension and drive shaft.

What exactly do you want to swap?

I was looking at engine, box, most of the interior, wheels & tyres etc. You probably wondering why I would bother. The wagon in registered in WA and that saves me about $500.00 a year on rego, plus we need a wagon for our dog. The green slip for the S would be $600.00 alone!

Just wondering, why not the diff? If I did motor & box wouldn;t it match?

The wagon is leaf spring, and the sedan is coil. So the diff won't fit....

The Wagon is also a longer wheel base vehicle so you may find carpets won't fit (also the reason the drive shaft won't fit)
