erm....

can you also quickly explan how you did the Velour trims? im about to go and buy a set of trims from a wrecker to play with trying out some speaker box designs, and I reckon if i did a full buildout along the bottom of the door, that insert would REALLY cap it off!

Even having eafalcom.com embroided into it would look sweet......

I made the velour trims about 4 months ago, it was pretty easy to do. I used hard cardboard to make the template then glued a layer of padding over it. Then the velour over the top. I just glued them to the door.

Steps I took.
1) Take off the inside door handle
2) Get a sheet of paper to make approx shape
3) Cut it out (bigger than required) hold over the door and cut to correct shape.
4) Transfer it to the cardboard (not too thick) and get correct shape.
5) Cut hole for handle
6) Make 4 of them, the rear is same shape but slightly shorter.
7) Put on padding and then velour cloth.
8) Glue to door (make sure you get it in the exact position as the glue I used (QUICK GRIP) dried so quick.
9) Put in door handles
10) You will need longer screws for the handles as when the velour insert is on the handle goes over the top and the screws are too short.

Done...

Also about the 12 slotters, do you think they look good on the car? The were on my Auntie’s EB wagon and she said I could have them as she is selling it. I had the snowflake mags on there before. Just wanted to get opinions on that you think would look best. 15" Snowflakes or the current 14" 12 slotters.

mate the 12 slotters make it look PHAT!!! small wheels big rubber - heaps better than the snowflakes - i think they are they worst looking wheel - unless they are the gold ESP ones, then they look ok (i think its the colour)

your car looks fully sik with the 12 slotters - given me a bit of inspiration!!

I got the 15" eb s pak 5 spoke wheels that are painted black, but those 12 slotters make it look real aggressive, i think i got to buy some - just like people have more than one pair of shoes, why cant cars!!!!
