possible aircon and starting prob
Hi all I have a 1997 EL Fairmont Wagon and am having 2 problems with it. The first is a starting prob, it mainly happens when it is hot i.e. running temp. Pull up somewhere switch car off when I go to start car again turn key and it just winds, turn key off then turn back on straight away and it starts, have changed coil, leads, plugs, dizzy cap and rotor button and it still does it am close to pulling my hair out trying to work it out.
Second problem is when aircon is turned on drive around for awhile car at running temp stop at traffic lights oil pressure guage drops to bottom and warning light and buzzer come on turn aircon off guage goes back to normal the volt guage drops a volt when aircon turned on then goes back to normal when it is turned off. has anybody heard of these probs or come across them, what can i do to fix it. I need the aircon as have young family and live in central qld and it gets bloody hot here. Thanks all.
